What we believe can be categorized into two groups: ESSENTIAL beliefs and NON-ESSENTIAL beliefs.
In ESSENTIAL beliefs, we have unity. Essential beliefs are those beliefs upon which we cannot compromise because they are expressed clearly in God’s Word and are imperative in defining God and His plan of salvation and intimacy with mankind.
“There is one body and one spirit…there is one Lord, one faith, one baptism; and God and Father of us.”
“Accept him whose faith is weak, without passing judgment in non-disputable matters…Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To his own master he stands or falls…So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God…So whatever you believe about these things keep between yourself and God.”
In ALL our beliefs, we show love. At Grace, we do not argue with others about scripture. We lovingly proclaim the truth of God’s Word, allowing others the opportunity to accept or deny these truths.
“…If I hold in my mind not only all human knowledge but the very secrets of God, and if I also have the absolute faith which can move mountains – but have no love, I amount to nothing at all.”
