Wondering about God?
The Bible teaches us that we can come to know God through a relationsip with Jesus Christ. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh to the Father but by me.”
If you have a desire to know God, it’s as simple as accepting the free gift that Jesus provided for us when He died for our salvation and rose again to give us the power to enjoy life.
To accept the free gift of salvation found in Jesus Christ and to come to know God as your heavenly Father, simply acknowledge the following Biblical truths and pray out loud the prayer listed below.
Without Christ, you are a sinner in need of a Savior. “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (-Romans 3:23)
Christ died for you as an expression of God’s love and free salvation. “For God showed His love toward us that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” (-Romans 5:8)
By confessing Christ as your Savior and Lord and acknowledging His resurrection you are saved! “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” (-Romans 10:9)
Want to Accept Christ?
Pray this prayer out loud:
Dear God,
I acknowledge that I am a sinner without you that is in need of your free gift of salvation.
There is nothing I can do to earn your salvation. It is a free gift!
There is nothing I can do to disqualify me from your salvation. It is a free gift!
I receive your free gift of salvation today!
I confess Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior!
His sacrifice for me when He died and shed His blood on the Cross is where I place my hope and trust for this free gift.
I believe you raised Jesus from the dead to give me power to win in this life.
Thank you that I am a new creation with the power to overcome and win in life.
Thank you for making me your child and becoming my Heavenly Father.
Thank you for the free gift of salvation today!
